 What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Taking Ipills?

Hi yesterday the condom broke and my girlfriend (she is 22 and her cycle is not stable) had to take the morning after pill (Postinor).She took it 9 hours later.What are the chances of her getting pregnant? (She was expecting her period in 5 days).Finally,she is worried that she won't be fertile and have children because she has taken the pill more than three times until now.Is this true?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
* Postinor when taken within 24 hours of sex - covers the risk of pregnancy .
Additional positive thing is , the sex was only 5 days before the periods ( as you say) .. that is a safe zone of mense cycle . So your girl friend does not have chance of conception this time.
* Postinor is an emergency contraceptive having high dose of hormones. It is not recomended for frequent use- Daily oral contraceptive/ IUD are better choices for regular contraception.
Taking Postinor 3 times may not have difficulty in conception. Only thing is to avoid frequent use, which may cause hormonal imbalance & menstrual irregularity- which needs correction by treatment.
